Puppy Kindergarten

Enrollment is revolving, enroll at any time. No need to wait several weeks to get your puppy started. You can start as soon as you enroll. Classes are held Thursdays from 7:00 - 7:50 PM at BestFriends Veterinary Clinic, 10904 57th St NE, Albertville, MN 55301.

In the Puppy Kindergarten course, we will focus on body handling, coming when called, play biting, practice vet exams, novel sounds and objects, and a lot of play time!

The course fee is $150 for 6 consecutive weeks. NOTE: fee is non-refundable. Ask about payment plan.

This course is for puppies 12 weeks and under at the time of enrollment. Puppies are required to have received their first round of vaccinations 7 days prior to the start of class as well as their first deworming. These guidelines follow the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior “Puppy Socialization Position Statement”.

This class starts on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Classes will be held Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at BestFriends Veterinary Clinic, 10904 57th St NE, Albertville, MN 55301.

In the Basic Manners course, the featured behaviors that we will focus on are, sit, down, come when called, leave-it, hand-targeting, walking on leash, focus on handler, and wait.

The course fee is $150 for 5 weeks. Class dates are 10/21, 10/29, 11/4, 11/11, and 11/18. NOTE: fee is non-refundable. There are no makeup classes for any that are missed.

For dogs and puppies over 16 weeks of age at the start of class.

Advanced Manners

In the Advanced Manners course, the featured behaviors that we will focus on are, “go to mat”, heel, stay, calm greeting, rocket recall, and more.

The course fee is $150 for 5 weeks. NOTE: fee is non-refundable. There are no makeup classes for any that are missed. Ask about payment plan.

This course is for dogs that have completed the Basic Manners course.

  • A floor mat or blanket
